This web page traces the descendants of Christen Christensen Krogh, who was born in Denmark in 1653, and who is the ancestor of numerous Kroghs in Denmark and around the world, including the Nobel Prize winner August Krogh (1920 Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine).
This history of the Krogh family was written for the "South American" branch of the family, now mostly resident in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, by Reinhold Alexander Krogh (1877-1942). This compilation was keyed from the handwritten manuscript that is in the possession of the Krogh family in Trinidad, and was supplemented with additional information provided by Reinhold's son, Jacob Krogh.
